ThermoDyn steel reinforcing fibre corrugated / RFO
Steel fibres can completely replace classic reinforcing steel or reinforcing steel meshes in any ground-level structure.
Due to different geometries, either with end anchoring or corrugated and a tensile strength of more than 1,100 N/Mm, steel fibres increase the strength and durability of the concrete while simultaneously reducing costs. In addition, the fibers offer the possibility of casting larger surfaces without expansion joints.
Advantages:
Cost savings
Evenly distributed reinforcement - every cubic centimetre of concrete is reinforced
Transport - the total weight of the reinforcement material is significantly reduced
Time - the reinforcement is simply done by adding the fibres to the concrete.
Improvement of the physical properties of concrete:
controls the plastic contraction of the concrete during hardening
reduces thermal contraction and expansion of concrete
reduces crack formation
produces a homogeneous and easy to pour concrete with increased elasticity
increases the load-bearing capacity and impact strength of the soil
increases the strength of the floors even in the event of temperature fluctuations and thermal shock
Applications:
industrial floors
building foundations
tunnel linings
earthquake-proof buildings
maritime structures
roads or footpaths
freeways
runways
other ground level constructions
Processing:
The fibres are added to the concrete either in the concrete mixing plant or directly in the concrete mixer: 200 g bag for 25 kg bag of cement.
