RoWhite is the most commonly used fibre for concrete. They are added to prevent shrinkage cracks and additionally improve the reinforcement of the concrete.
These fibres are also used in a wide variety of applications. Their use is mandatory for tunnel linings as they reduce fire damage such as spalling.
The polypropylene fibres are corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic and 100% alkali-resistant.
Advantages:
prevent the formation of shrinkage cracks
control plastic contraction of fresh concrete
improve long-term durability, wear resistance and impact resistance
reduce concrete spalling caused by fire
the only method of casting long-lasting decorative stamped concrete
Applications:
The RoWhite fibres are used in any concrete application, such as
civil and industrial buildings
decorative stamped concrete
mortar and plaster
shotcrete
grounds
sidewalks
parking spaces
prefabricated components
tunnel linings
further construction projects
Application:
The recommended dosage of RoWhite fibres is 0.6 kg per cubic metre of concrete or more, depending on the static calculation. The mixing and homogenization can be carried out in the concrete mixing plant as well as directly in the concrete mixer. The fibres should be stirred into the concrete for 7 minutes at medium speed. They do not require any modification of the concrete recipe. At higher dosages it is recommended to add appropriate additives to the liquefaction instead of water. Recommendation: 10 g bag for 25 kg sack of cement.
